Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, I help you explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a safe and supportive environment.

Together, we work to increase emotional awareness, develop self-compassion, and identify patterns that may be affecting your relationships or sense of fulfillment.

Common challenges addressed include:

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

  • Relationship difficulties and attachment issues

  • Life transitions and identity changes (including immigration and cultural adaptation)

  • Low self-esteem and boundary setting

  • Difficulty managing emotions or communicating needs

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, the focus is on helping partners understand each other’s emotional needs and rebuild a sense of trust, intimacy, and connection.

Using evidence-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and systemic techniques, we’ll work on improving communication, reducing conflict, and deepening emotional closeness.

Common challenges addressed include:

  • Repeated conflicts and communication breakdowns

  • Emotional disconnection or lack of intimacy

  • Recovery after betrayal or loss of trust

  • Different expectations about commitment, parenting, or life goals

  • Difficulties balancing individual needs within the relationship

Family Therapy

Family therapy creates space for families to communicate more openly, understand each other’s perspectives, and strengthen bonds.

Sessions often involve multiple members of the family, focusing on how each person’s experiences and emotions impact the family dynamic.

Common challenges addressed include:

  • Parent-child conflicts or behavioral challenges

  • Adjustment to separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics

  • Cultural or generational differences within immigrant families

  • Struggles with boundaries, roles, or expectations

  • Improving family communication and emotional safety

This workshop aims to support couples from different cultures on the experience of raising children and how to have difficult conversations.

 

Better Couple, Better Parents!

This workshop focuses on supporting parents who are a couple (or future parents) on key points to improve their relationships and communication skills aiming to be better parents to their children.
